New Zealand businesses are increasingly being held accountable for the risks of modern slavery in their supply chains.

‘Accountability for Modern Slavery in New Zealand Supply Chains’ will examine recent policy and legislative developments that impact NZ businesses.

The Seminar will feature a briefing by the Australian Border Force on the legal obligations and expectations of New Zealand companies required to report under the Australia Modern Slavery Act and the implications for their suppliers.

A panel of leading New Zealand businesses will consider the compliance process, the implications for their operations and how companies can support their suppliers.

The event will also include a briefing on recent relevant New Zealand domestic developments regarding modern slavery.

The seminar will conclude with afternoon tea and opportunities to network.
